How to Make Lemonade
Water is the most refreshing drink in the world and also the cheapest. People drink water not only because it is good for them, but also because it is easy to achieve and costs barely anything. Lemon is one of the worst kinds of fruit. It tastes extremely sour and even bitter if you eat the skin. But if you add these two elements together, you get one of the most bountiful drinks ever. There are hundreds of ways to make lemonade. From strawberry lemonade to chocolate lemonade, there are a wide range of ways to make lemonade. But the simplest of all these kinds is the water based lemonade where water and lemon are the two most crucial ingredients in the drink. It's so easy to make, even a five year old can do it. But let it be known that without the proper tools and directions, this great American beverage is nothing more than acid in water.
People sometimes make the foolish mistake of adding sugar before the water and so forth. But with my three-step process, lemonade is bound to be better than chocolate or even ice cream. To start making lemonade, you must have a lemon, sugar, and water. Without these three ingredients, you will not be able to call this drink "lemonade." It is essential that a knife be there to cut the lemon, a cup or pitcher for the drink, and a stove pan to heat the drink. Later on, it is necessary to have a blender for the ice. And the last important tool is the lemon squeezer.
First off, wash the lemons so there is no dirt or bacteria on them. Use the knife and cut the lemon in half so the juice can be easily squeezed. If you desire more juice from the lemon, you should put the lemon in a microwave first for around ten to fifteen seconds. After cutting the lemons and squeezing about two cups of juice into the cup or pitcher, add around six cups of water. After adding water to the cup, add one and a half-cups of sugar to the juice and water. The most important thing to remember is that the ratio of juice, sugar and water makes lemonade great,

There are five simple steps on how to create this candy tasting drink. Choosing the proper packet of flavoring is the first step in making Kool-Aid. Check your local grocery store’s shelf for a variety of flavors, from Mountain Berry Punch to Tropical Blue Hawaiian. They are very cheap, usually under 65 cents. After choosing the flavor that suits you, the second step is making sure you have the correct and necessary equipment for making Kool-Aid. You will need a two-quart pitcher. Next, find a long spoon, a one-cup measuring cup, a water faucet with drinkable water, white sugar, and an ice tray full of ice. Then, you are ready to mix the Kool-Aid. Third, grab the left edge of the kool-Aid packet between your thumb and index finger. With your other hand, begin peeling the upper left corner until the entire top of the envelope is removed. Next, dump the mix powder of the envelope into the two quart pitcher. The powder will float before settling on the bottom of the pitcher. Then, take the measuring cup and scoop two cups of white sugar into the pitcher. At this point you will be adding the water next. Place the pitcher under the water faucet and slowly turn on the cold water. After the pitcher is filled within two inches of the top, turn the water off and prepare to stir. With the long spoon inside the pitcher, stir in a clockwise motion until all of the powder is dissolved. Taste it. If the Kool-…

One of the most cliche statements that has ever been said is “People that you are surrounded with will make a big influence on you.” People always have a big influence on things especially other people. This connection is relevant to the characters in Make Lemonade by Virginia Euwer Wolff. Which is completely opposite to Jolly, who is a teen mom with two kids and is learning how to survive life with only her and her kids. Would you rather drink soda or juice? I would prefer to drink juice even though it’s not that healthy, but it’s better than soda. I say that because, soda can make you break you out on your skin and also can damage your kidneys, such as kidney stones because of the phosphoric acid in the soda. According to Answers.yahoo.com it takes 72 bottles of water to flush out 12fl oz of soda in your body, and that is really bad. Soda can do many things to your body harmful things and all it is, is a drink that can do many things to you in one swallow. ust imagine drinking a nice cold Minute Maid Pink Lemonade on a hot day, or a cold Red Powerade after a long hard practice. The cold refreshing drink rushes through your body and quenches your thirst. However, do you know what you are actually drinking, and how much of that drink is contaminated with dye? In this experiment, with the use of a spectrophotometer, the amount of concentrated dye in three drinks will be tested. First, the dye itself will be examined to see what the optimal wavelength and absorbance will be when created in a serial solution. Red Dye 40 was the prime object that will be studied in this lab because it is one of the most common dyes in every day drinks. Before performing any experiment though, it is important to understand…
