The problem I intend to address in my argumentative research essay is the on-going issue of gun control. On one hand, some citizen believe that guns are completely unsafe and should ultimately be banned. On the other, many people feel that the 2nd Amendment protects the American citizens rights to own a gun. Therefore, prohibiting their ownership should be deemed unconstitutional.
