The actors that were cast for the movie did a very good job; they captured the role of their character, and performed consistently. They played the role of their characters successfully, and because of that; the characters in the movie took on the persona the characters in the book.

I would change that scene because it doesn’t really show what happened. The scene goes from where Ponyboy is being drowned by a socs; But then it cuts to the scene where Ponyboy is laying on the ground trying to breath, and Bob is laying next to him dead. I would have describe more what happened in that that scene.
A movie that I would compare to the Outsiders is the Maze Runner. I would compare the Maze Runner to the Outsiders because it is also about teens; they have to survive in a maze through the good and bad, and by the middle, two sides have turned against each other, much like the greasers and the socs. In the Maze Runner someone on each side is like Johnny and Bob.
The rating I would give this movie out of ten would be a seven because the movie was good but it was not as good as book; I say this because the book is great and the movie cut out some parts of the book that are very good. the movie also did not get the whole plot in one hour and thirty-one minutes.
