“You won't regret being patient, but you will regret giving up. Never, never, never give up on something you believe in.” These are the words that play a role in my life each and every day. I will never forget the time that my Dad and I went to Ikea to get a desk for my room and when we got there we saw that it was in a large box with detailed instructions meaning we had to build it. My dad would sit there for quite some time and get frustrated and then would resort to giving up and saying, “I knew we should have bought something already built” and I would go and give it a try. I remember this desk story in particular because he had buckled under within the first 15 minutes. I was determined, I sat for a good hour or two and wouldn't leave until I had finished the project.
