Importance Of Believing In National Honor Society
Why I Believe I Belong In National Juniors Honors Society I was very excited when I heard that I had been invited in to National Juniors Honors Society. It had always been a goal of mine ever since I had heard about it. My older sister also did NJHS and she has moved away to college, so this is a way for me to keep a little part of her. I have always loved school. I was always that little girl no one understood, because I was always excited to learn and get back to school after summer break. I would be so happy and very honored if I got accepted into NJHS. My first reason I think I should be accepted is because I’ve always love helping out, whether it’s in my church or if it is at school, or in the community. I would be so happy if …show more content…

My older sister Kristina, valedictorian for PV, was in NJHS and well she was valedictorian. This is also very important to me because I also have a goal of being valedictorian, so every little bit helps. I would also like to get into a good school, and even if this doesn't make a huge mark, it could provide me with helpful skills for my future. Currently my plans are to go to college and get a degree in physical sciences, or something to help me with my dream job of being a forensic scientist in California. Right now the colleges I’m interested in are I really hope that getting into NJHS would help me do better in high school, college, and my adult life and …show more content…

This would be very nice because I always love making new friends and this is a great opportunity. Another great thing is since there are upper class men, I can hopefully learn from them and be more prepared for 8th grade. I’m also really excited to have another chance at not only making friends, but possibly meeting teachers. I’d really love for this to happen because at the time I don't know a whole lot about the teachers in 8th grade. I’m very excited about being able to meet new people and teachers, so getting into NJHS would be huge opportunity I would be so blessed to

Throughout my four years of high school, I have consistently pushed myself beyond my limits and comfort zones in attempt to discover my place in the world. I spent most of first two years discovering who I was as an individual, ultimately manifesting into inspiration for success. I grew out of “fitting in” and decided to turn my life and aspirations towards a greater direction; on this road of discovery, I separated myself from those who valued arrogance and indifference. “Nerd Squad” is what I am a part of today, which is why I am currently confident enough to apply for the National Honors Society Scholarship. I believe I have grown into a tenacious, sympathetic, and joyous young man that the entire school has seen develop, and I am honored…

“The hardest obstacle to overcome in any leadership position is getting past the apathy to get people involved in the process to get things done…The greatest enemy to accomplishment is apathy” (Burke). National Honor Society upholds its members to have 4 important values. These being scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Leadership, in my opinion, is a very important aspect in National Honors Society because you are expected to be a role model by positively inspiring people around you. This quote stuck out because it says that inspiring people is a way to overcome obstacles in leadership. If you inspire people and make them get rid of their apathy, you can overcome stalling in the process and reach accomplishment.…
