I spent the end of May and beginning of June applying for any activity job or volunteer opportunity that held my interest. I spent hours preparing for interviews, writing lengthy letters and internally panicking at every ring of the phone. in June I started my first job at the Hebron Carnival, and I could not have been more excited. I promised myself that I would work my hardest to make the carnival a better place than when I arrived. I also was accepted by the volunteer program at Peninsula Regional Medical Center and began work there every Monday and Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. that was the most educational job I have ever had the pleasure of working at.Also in June I applied to work at Azar Eye Institute and received a position there. I worked there Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7 to 5:30. even after balancing my workload I was informed that I got a job volunteering at the library; which I did Monday and Thursday afternoons, and I also got a job working with children and animals at the Pemberton nature camp. Five jobs for a 15-year-old without a license sounds overwhelming, and it was. However, I loved every minute of it.
