Independent Studies Essay
Dominic Uncangco 1/10/15

When I first started high school I Thought I was going to love it boy was I wrong on that one. Freshman and Sophomore year were ok but definitely the best years of my high school experience. When Junior and Senior year came around i absolutely despised them. All in all my high school experience was a mix of good and bad. Freshman and Sophomore year I had my two favorite teachers in my entire school career. Freshman year I had Ms.Parker for health and she was the most chill and laid back teacher I’ve ever had. She amazed me with the way she connected with her students students. Whenever someone would never threatened to get the student in trouble instead she would listen to what the student would have to say and do her best to fix the issue.
Sophomore year i had Aristotle for english honors and boy was that class something. I wasn't the best student in his class in fact i hardly did any of his work at all but the way he talked about the day's topic kept me going back to his class everyday. He rarely ever taught us the actual curriculum instead he would talk about life and teach us life lessons which I found fascinating.

Junior year was the year i started to dislike the Monterey High School system. I was in
Art Careers Academy and because of this Monterey High forced me to be in a digital photography class. I was okay with that at first but that was because I didn't know how

crazy the teacher was. She would give us assignments and would tell us to use our imagination but if she didn't like your piece she would have you make it a way she liked so the piece would become hers and no longer yours. My buddy and I tried to drop the class multiple times but the principle made it a mandatory class for all junior Art
Academy

My freshman year at St. Dominic High School was pretty fun, I met a lot of great people and I did a lot of fun thing. During this past year I went to some of the football team’s home games and I helped out setting up and working backstage on the production of See Them Run and A Christmas Carol. I was in AP/Honors courses, playing Varsity soccer, volunteering at least 5 hours a week, and working part time. Although this was the most stressful time period of my life, it also helped me grow. I learned a lot about time management that year. Every year since then I find myself complaining less and less about school, because overall I know that I can handle it. Junior year I had the lowest GPA of my whole academic life, yet, I worked the hardest.…

The first time I had Mr. Coward as a teacher was for my ninth-grade Physical Science class. From the first day, I could tell that his class was going to be much harder than any other science class I have ever had. My entire class and I struggled with understanding dimensional analysis. Since we had never encountered this topic, we started to make bad grades. Because of this he took a few days of class to break down this method so we would grasp it. After that our grades improved and we went on to learn harder things.…

Going back to my best year! Sophomore year was the year I had to get myself together and stop acting so amateur, it was the year I start acting like an adult. Therefore It was a great year for me. My sophomore year was not like other teenagers, I had many downfalls, but that didn't stop me from accomplishing my goals. Around this time I wanted to try a sport for the first time, so I tried out for the wrestling team, but they didn't work out so well. Sophomore year I didn't make any new friends, cause I don't like making new friends, it's just too much. My day one friends stayed the same, these are the people who have been through hell and back with me. I didn't learn how to drive my tenth grade year, because I was procrastinating. I was skipping school and getting into…

Initially I will begin restructuring the event by considering how I approached independent learning at the university. As a university student learning in the higher education, it’s a big responsibility for me to have a very good progress so I need to have my own time to be an independent learner because my attitudes to my learning will effect the color of the results of the university which is affecting the grade you achieved in. I’m aware that based on from my previous experience, success and the feeling of the successful graduate on the diploma graduation is very motivation myself to be a successful undergraduate student. Ideally in order to get most out of my time as a university student it’s worth thinking how to become…

    Individuation Essay

The process on individuation is central to Jungian analytical psychology, as Jung believed that individuation is the driving force behind humans’ “yearning for completeness within the human experience, and the search for wholeness” (Russell, & Ryback, 1996, p.2) in their life-long conquest to achieve a distinctive but coherent and balanced personality. Besides the genetics and the psychosocial environment, Jung believed that a third force influences the dynamic formation of human individuality and that is the ‘collective memory’ of previous civilizations, memory stored and available to humans, in the ‘collective unconscious’ (Munteanu, 2012; Douglas, 2011). While hard to prove scientifically, quantum physics does not refute this concept…
