In Buñol, a town in Valencia, where production of tomatoes is a very important resource for the economy. Every year they celebrate the festival “La Tomatina”. all day long thousands of people throw at each other tomatoes. This brings tourists from all over the world and they use many tons of tomatoes.
Culinary: José Andrés José Andrés is a very internationally known Spanish chef. He likes combining traditional Spanish plates, with cooking’s most innovative techniques. Andrés lives in Washington, D.C, he owns various restaurants in the United States and hosts a program on PBS. He also has been on the Late show with David Letterman and Top Chef.

The richness of the culture and language from Spain reflects the combinations in the diverse cultures that have lived in these territories for centuries. Spanish is the official language but Catalan, Gallego, Euskera and Valncia are also official.

The Prado, in Madrid, is a museum very well known throughout the world. Inside the Prado there are important paintings from Botticelli, from the Greeco and the Spaniards Goya and Valáquez. Las Meninas is the work best known from Diego Velázquez. Official painter of the royal court during the 17th century.
