Injustice For Tradition Analysis

In reading my fourth response paper, “Injustice for Tradition; Justice for Love”, which was analyzing the last two acts in the Story of the Western Wing, I can see not only a significant amount of change in my writing from the beginning of the semester, but also further improvements I have made and could have made on this paper. With re-reading this paper, looking at with a fresh and further developed perspective, the first major thing I notice about my writing is that sometimes claims were made without further explanation or context. If I had supported some off the claims I made initially, it may not leave the reader, asking how or why. For example there is a spot at the beginning of my paper where I wrote, “Though the reader can distinguish that the happiness of the ending depends on which characters point of view we take, this story leads us that it does not only end happily, but also, justly.” In this section it may have been better if I had shown my intention to show how the story turned out “justly”. Unfortunately I do not make this clear and go on with the assumption most readers would find the ending just. Overall I see
The structure I used analyzes each character and situation individually, which makes my points clear and convincing. Though this paper could have been improved, overall, I think it shows some growth, especially compared to the first couple of papers I wrote for the class. I definitely think that I am able to bring greater focus to claims and have improved overall coherence as a writer after almost having completed this class. I know I use a lot better evidence and less assumptions, and luckily do not use so much first person interjection into my papers. I can see where I could improve more easily and this class will help me when writing and editing future papers with a better trained eye for coherence and
