INTERNSHIP REVIEW REPORT 1. Introduction | 2. Duties and Responsibilities as per attached Terms of Reference |

i. Support the conceptualization of the flow of the training workshops and the drafting of a training plan as guided by the concept note; ii. Obtain recommendations and support actual identification of training workshop participants in close collaboration , iii. Maintain a contact list for possible workshop participants for each hub/region; iv. Provide administrative support (e.g. booking of facilities, inviting participants, providing participants with travel and accommodation arrangements, compile workshop materials, support the drafting of the training agenda, ); v. Work closely with operations team(finance and procurement); vi. Grant overall support at the training workshops, whenever in attendance ; vii. Follow up on pecific actions arising from the trainings; viii. Compile workshop proceedings and a final synthesis of lessons learnt after the training workshops; ix. Any other task as may be assigned by the Kenya Country Director. 3. Comments on Assignments | 4.1. Did you complete the assignments?_Yes__Were you satisfied with the Assignments?__Yes 4.2. UN Women working environment is friendly and everyone is kind, fully supportive and generous. I had an overall supervisor who I worked with closely with as well as other staff and KRA 4 members depending on which activity I was assigned. The best thing about the work is I was literally thrown in the deep end, as I came on board when the trainings has just started, this meant I had a lean learning curve, this translated to a relentless effort to learn. Njoki was reachable and very helpful by providing necessary information and guidance on different tasks and assignments and giving feedback

HISTORY: This 35-year-old white female, gravida 3, para 1-0-2-1, had her last menstrual period in early January. Prior menstrual cycles had been regular. She reported using no contraception but not attempting pregnancy. Patient presented to the emergency room complaining of vaginal bleeding with pain in the lower pelvic area. Ultrasound performed in the emergency room showed a 13.8 cm left adnexal mass with positive cardiac activity compatible with ectopic pregnancy. HOSPITAL COURSE: On March 27 the patient underwent exploratory laparotomy, left partial salpingectomy, evacuation of hemoperitoneum, and lysis of adhesions. Blood loss was approximately 1000 mL and was replaced with transfusion of 2 units of red blood cells. Her blood type was noted to be O, Rh-negative, and RhoGAM was provided. (Continued)…
