I and Anh Khoi did the poster. In these five weeks, I have learned a lot of things like working with a group will have better outcome than working alone. With the local, national and global views I have known that technology is helping a lot for Vietnam’s economy. While working as a group, my grammars was checked and fixed by other group members. When I didn’t have any idea, they gave me some helpful ideas. They helped me a lot in my work so I could now completed my work well. Therefore, I learned that when we are working in a group, we have to help each other to have better outcomes. It wasn’t easy to work with other students from another country because of the different languages between us and them. However, they had the same opinions with us. I was so proud to think that people use our project for educating students in Vietnam, so they can know the standing place of their country in the world’s ranking. My group had a lot of trouble before completing this project like we weren’t allowed to bring technology devices to …show more content…
But I was a little bit disappointed because I may have worked less than anyone else in the group. My role is to write the project plan, contents page, introduction, and working on the poster. Despite the thing that I had quite much roles, I still feel that I’ve done my best yet. After that, I hope in the next project, if there is, I could do my jobs or roles better and made the group to be satisfied about my achievement more. Anyway, my group has helped me with their best so I hope that this project will have a quite great score and that score must be appropriate. I believe our effort worths either a B or a C. (919

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 was created by sponsors U.S. Senator Paul Sarbanes(D-MD) and U.S. Representative Michael G. Oxley (R-OH) in response to very public corporate fraud and accounting scandals. In a seemingly short period of time, Enron, Tyco International, Adelphia, Peregrine Systems and WorldCom all collapsed. The majority of these scandals resulted from the inaccurate reporting of financial transactions. The financial statements of these organizations were so gravely misrepresented and misstated that once the organizations' records were presented fairly, it caused the total collapse of the company. As a result of these scandals, investors lost billions of dollars when the share prices collapsed, and the public lost confidence in the nation's securities markets and the auditor who were supposed to protect the public's interest.…

The rubric project, I sent out the project instructions with my views of what we were supposed to do. Together with my group, we improved our ideas into the finished product. For the photo album project, I reviewed my group member’s projects, observing some weakness and interpretations that may be needed for each project. Furthermore, I replied to the two group members who reviewed my project. I thanked them for their help and told them what I did to use their feedback to make my project better. Also, I had the opportunity to create a Prezi for the first time. My prezi can be found in the following link:…

One of the decisions I made that helped me succeed in my APDC English class was to work harder than my classmates, because success belongs only to those who are willing to work harder than anyone else To illustrate, my first assignment was a columnist project that I have to annotate and soapstone an article, and write a rhetorical précis and a critical response paragraph. I was worried about the grammar and punctuation of my project since English is my second language. In addition, I started my project two weeks before the due date to make sure I had the enough amount of time to fix any grammar error and to make an exemplary project. When I got back my project, I felt very proud of myself because I got a higher grade than many of my classmates…

Obviously, we live in quite interesting times when technology is progressing but wars are still going on. It is a well-known fact that forty years ago there was basically just mail. Mapes points to the fact that nowadays there is a number of options, among them are cell phones, messengers, Internet including Skype as well as social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter (2010). Thus, the soldiers have easy access to all these services and are able to use them at any time, wherever they may be. Of course, some technical difficulties may occur. Nevertheless, it would be crazy to imagine all of this during the Vietnam War times.…

I felt we didn’t all equally participate in preparation as the questionnaire and research I made were not used and a different questionnaire was made. This in effect made it seem as if my contribution was not necessary. I also, felt that I didn’t take part in setting up the campaign as the presentation tasks went to other group members. However, the campaign involved dressing up as characters and I believe that we all did…

I also want to share my experience about work in the group. I studied about IT so in my major I don’t have chance to practice how to work in a group. But we always have a final project when we finish undergraduate program. And in that time, school just gave us the members of group, we don’t know each other before. Before we thought it’s fine because we are young so easy to contact each other. But after that we understood a group is so complicate. Because we have different life style, different schedule and also we come from different area so it make we have culture and thinking different. Especially, we have not had any experience about working in a group before. We are young so ourselves is really strong, everybody want to protect for their idea. Everything became stuff and very tired. Hopefully, our teacher is good, she made some appointments for us and…
