Some of the reasons why people drink alcohol is because him or her might have personal or family problems. This is the main reason why most adults drink alcohol so they feel better when they are depressed, but this is a bad way to fix the problems only imagine if someone was drinking intoxicated and the collide with another car. What would happen to the other people in the car or yourself who is drinking the alcohol. This was an incident that had been occurred to a woman named Jacqueline Saburido. She had been burned very seriously when an intoxicated driver had collided to the back of the car Jacqueline had been sitting in. The driver had been fined 20,000 dollars and seven years in jail. Another reason why people are drinking is because of student or peer pressure. This means that someone is forcing you to drink but you don’t to be left out because you want to be cool like the other kids who do drink alcohol. Other reasons why people drink is because most people like how it taste and or it is part of their religion, but some people might drink alcohol is to join friends in socializing. There are many other reasons why people intoxicate themselves.

Some reasons to not drink alcohol is that you will be able to save more money on other stuff rather than drinking, also your bodily functions will be healed from all the heavy or light drinking. Your face will also clear up and your complexion will show more improvement. Other stuff that can occur in your personal life that the next day you will regret that you had done is like sending people messages about something that you had never wanted to tell or also called the drunk dial. For teens if you are getting wasted or drunk every day your brain will start to die, by the age you turn an adult you will not be able to complete difficult tasks or make decisions correctly.     I believe alcohol is a depressant that alters perceptions, emotions, and senses. Alcohol first acts as a stimulant, and then it makes people feel relaxed and a bit sleepy. High doses of alcohol seriously affect judgment and coordination. Drinkers may have slurred speech, confusion, depression, short-term memory loss, and slow reaction times. I believe a vast amount of alcohol drunk in a short period of time may cause alcohol poisoning.
