Immigrants shouldn’t be restricted from coming to the U.S, legally. Illegal immigrants should be deported and we should put more money into our border patrol to enforce our borders. We should have control of who comes into our country and how. A wall would be too expensive and too troublesome, so I think we should just stick with the fences we have now and bulk up our border patrol.
America is still home to all, as long as they abide by our laws and customs. I think we should let all of those who want to come in come, and before being deported, illegals that can pay taxes and that are following the law should be given a chance for citizenship. I think changes should be made to how a person qualifies for citizenship. Less focus should

I think the US should build a fence dividing us and Mexico because of the following reasons. First, the financial reason of this is when illegal aliens come to the US they feed off of americans health care and tax dollars from the government. Also a lot of illegal stuff can be transported easily across the borders. Immigrants often don't have health care because they can afford it and they cannot afford the medical payment when they become injured which affects the economy in America. Around eight million illegal aliens live in the US, and many of them aren't working. Americans also believe that immigrants have jobs that the Americans should have. Wage reduction is something that has occurred as immigrants fill certain jobs up. Language differences…

A fence along the U.S. and Mexico border is a good solution to illegal immigration. This is because it will greatly decrease the number of illegal immigrants coming into America each year. It is estimated that 700,000 illegal immigrants enter our country each year. (http://www.cairco.org/issues/how-many-illegal-aliens-reside-united-states) The fence could greatly lower these numbers if built. Not only will it make America seem less inviting, it will be a lot easier to keep individuals who refuse to enter legally out of America. There are legal and proper ways to enter America for a reason; the fence will help enforce them.…

Furthermore Debate.com also states, “it is a waste of government resources¨. This wall is a tool for controlling immigration and it would be an awful. On the contrary, someone might want to argue that it prevents people from Mexico from coming to the border or United States, but this counter-argument is flawed because it will waste billions of money and it will be useless in the interest of people still immigrating and trafficking into the United States. Also, those trafficking will find alternate routes to smuggle…

What would you do if you got attacked by a rip current? Would you panic or would you stay calm and swim? Rip currents are strong waves that take the water from the coast and take it back to the ocean. Over 100 people drown each year because of rip currents. Over 80% of the rescues on beaches are because of rip currents. In all three sources: “Life Saver” by John DiConsiglio, “Rip Current Safety” by National Weather Service, and “How to Survive Beach Rip Currents” by UNSWTV, it shows that lifeguards need to be best prepared for dire situations, such as rip currents.…

Many immigrants are already apart of the American Community and have been for so many years. We can’t really do anything about thos immigrants who are already in America and have been for a decade. During their time here, “many have started families, and have children who are granted automatic citizenship as a result of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S Constitution” (Griswald 1.) It would be cruel to deport those children’s parents, their families would be ripped apart and the children would have to fend for themselves. Americans are worried about the threats and crimes, but not by the ones whom are already living in America, but more from those who are still trying to cross the border.…

Immigration has been an ongoing debate in the United States for a long time. Every year, there is a growing number of immigrants arriving in the U.S to find a place of refuge while others just want to achieve the American Dream. The American Dream is the idea that people should have the opportunity to succeed despite their circumstances. However, not everyone that enter the United States do so legally. Many do so illegally by being smuggled or overstaying their visit to a friend or family member in the U.S. As a result, the U.S government has made an immense effort to protect the border by ensuring that only the people legally permitted to enter the U.S. can do so. According to the Census Bureau “immigrants added more than 22 million people to the U.S population in the last decade, equal to 80 percent of total population growth.” Many argue that this large number of immigrants has been a result of lack of or poor border security as well as a broken immigration system but that is not always the case.…

The United States though is known as the melting pot of culture, and for us to put up a wall and stop immigration would cause us not to be that melting pot anymore. So instead of building this wall we should look to revise our meaning in the Statue of Liberty and make it to where we truly understand its meaning so we can reduce the number of immigrants that are coming in while also being able to maintain the purpose of the Mother of Exiles. Immigration was something that we wanted before, but now it is an issue that some people want to…

I believe that illegal immigrants should not be allowed to stay in our country. By making this statement, I am not saying that I am against immigration in any way. I am happy to welcome immigrants into our country, as long as they just live under our laws like the rest of us. If they come here legally, we would be able to do background checks on them before letting them into our country so there is less of a chance of crime being committed by immigrants. I think that if immigrants want to live in our country, they should find a job and use that money to find a place to live. However, immigrants should not just use our government’s money for their possessions because when they continuously abuse the welfare system, American taxes increase at tremendous rates each year to pay for them.…

Immigration is one of the most infamous topics today in American culture. The million dollar question is whether or not we should let immigrants in; legal or illegal. In my opinion, we should let immigrants in that are willing to go through the process of becoming an American citizen. Legal immigrants are tolerable, but when we start to see illegal immigrants hop the border in big packs, our economy starts to plunder with the mass amounts of immigrants we have to care for.…

Some also come from Canada, but it is not too common. Should illegal immigrants be allowed to live in our country? Is there something that one can do to be legally allowed in the states after being illegal? These illegal immigrants are both beneficial and harmful our country. First and foremost, building the border wall will extremely assist the US in reaching high levels of control. We are the country of freedom, happiness, and redemption to other countries. This is what leads to criminal activity and situations other countries do not have to deal with. The restriction of Mexico, Central, and South America is what increased the rate of illegal immigration. “a committee within the House of Representatives formulated a new immigration bill, H.R. 4437 (Sensenbrenner/King Border Protection, Antiterrorism and Illegal Immigration Control Act of 2005)”, this proposed the construction of nearly 700 miles of fencing. This is now being redesigned by D. Trump, and he is dedicated to keeping them out. Immigration illegal or legal cost the U.S. economy around 70 million dollars per year. The money they cost us to be here takes away from our hospitals and schools as well as money they earn working and the 500 million dollars of taxpayers money a year they use just while being incarcerated. Though they use a lot of money and are here under no government knowledge, does that mean they should have so many restrictions. As the number of immigrants increase officials are endorsing different forms of amnesty for groups with sympathetic situations which is dangerous and misleading for many reasons. Protecting our country is a good thing but this is not the way America was meant to…

There are many arguments that support allowing illegal immigrants into America. Illegal immigrants should be allowed into America. Illegal immigrants are essential to the American economy, they contribute more to the government than they receive in benefits, and current immigration policies are discriminatory. An illegal immigrant is any person who enters the United States illegally, or any person who enters legally and stays past the time legally allowed.…

Countless amounts of immigrants come into America every year and millions of those immigrants are undocumented. The integration of foreigners is nothing new in America, it has been one of the major reasons why the country has grown to such a massive size. People have identified this and asked for immigration reform to such a flawed system, only to receive no answer. It’s unfortunate that everyone would rather waste resources bickering over what to do with illegals rather than focus on what how to fix a broken immigration system. We need immigration reform for illegals because it would benefit Americans by strengthening the economy, saving the agricultural industry, and bringing in more workers.…
