Knocking Persuasive Speech
Parents are always being warned by experts to listen to their children to pick up on subtleties that could be indicating a far more serious problem. Les McMaster, chairman of the Motor Industry Workshop Association (MIWA), stated that it is the same with cars and that you should ignore your car’s moan and groans at your own risk.
MIWA stated that lost of car owners are driving in blissful ignorance of sounds that’s not usual for fear of those being something big that will cost a fortune to repair. Any sound when turning a corner: This could be connected to your steering column that could be damaged.
Grinding gears: Either the clutch is worn or need to be adjusted. It can also be showing a more serious problem with the transmission.
Knocking: If it is a knocking sound from deep within the engine, normally it is not a good sign. It could also be that your rod bearing that’s loose or worn out and on the verge of failure. You should contact a workshop immediately and have the noise diagnosed.
A squealing sound when accelerate: You won’t miss this high pitched sound and it is more likely that your fan belt that’s loose. It could also be worn through, which in this case you should have it replaced.
Hissing under the bonnet: Usually you would hear this when you are turning off your car. It can either be coolant or oil that’s leaking onto a heated engine part or your car’s engine could be overheating.
