Kudler Fine Foods SR-kf-013
Kudler Fine Foods has three locations in the San Diego metropolitan area. Each store is around 8,000 square feet and is higher end shopping center. Kudler Fine Foods has the best food and fare in town. Kathy Kudler is the founder of Kudler Fine Foods; she created and opened the store June 18, 1998. It took Kudler only nine months to break even, and the store was profitable within their first year (Apollo Group, 2013).
Scope
With Service Request SR-kf-013, Kudler Fine Foods has proposed the implementation of a business system to track the purchases of its individual customers. With their purchases, customers accumulate loyalty points they can use for to redeem gift items, specialty foods, and other products. In addition to offering their own products as gifts, Kudler Fine Foods plans to form partnerships with external companies for additional services and products (Apollo Group, 2013). According to Kudler’s website, the La Jolla store announced its plans to create a frequent shopper program. The store website explains the benefits of joining the customer loyalty program, as well as the cooking and wine classes offered. Kathy Kudler states, “We believe this will be a huge benefit to our most loyal customers,” (Apollo Group 2013, p. 1). The scope of this loyalty plan is to establish an extensive background with frequent customers. The program allows Kudler to record and store data on popular purchases. Kudler will be able to keep abreast on popular items and never run out of stock on large money making items.
Stakeholders
Stakeholders in the Kudler loyalty program are the managers, customers, information technology (IT) developers and analysts, and Kathy Kudler. Excessive inventory is a problem at Kudler foods, and additional recording of merchandise purchased will help Kudler eliminate wasted product. The managers want to use the information gathered by the loyalty

The organization has developed a loyalty by its customers and has profited from this loyalty. The company has achieved profitability by expanding its services such as parties and frequent shopper programs (Apollo Group, 2011). The development of these added programs increased their revenue and expanded their customer base. Kudler Foods was the first to create these type of programs, first in their marketing area. The frequent shopper program will also benefit the customers by allowing them to earn points for things like airline ticket upgrades, special gifts, and even specialty food products. This program is all about customer information and the management of that information so that Kudler can better “delight” their customers and increase revenue. The sales and marketing team will work to establish and sustain the frequent shopper program by the fourth quarter so that revenue is increased by 4.75% by that time as well.
