Lambda Theta Alpha Case Study
To be part of Lambda Theta Alpha would mean sisterhood, unity, love and respect, and a chance to be part of a great organization to build leadership that will also provide political, social, and cultural activities and possibilities. It will be a great opportunity to build my character with those qualities and help others to do so as well to be a united and empowered young group of women.
I would be extremely grateful to be a part of this organization to help our community. To volunteer with sisters and help or improve this community in any way possible. Community service can bring people together and help those in need of any assistance and LTA can open windows to those opportunities. As an organization, together can achieve growth in a positive direction. If anyone is need of assistance in school, we can help each other, if a sister feels in any way down we can help. LTA is an organization that they can help one another in whatever obstacle any sister is dealing with, to be part of that would feel amazing and I would be grateful. It can benefit anybody in the organization to build themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. I would enjoy to be a part of this sisterhood, to feel connected to new friends and to also help them if they need any support or assistance. Life is unexpected and a journey, any obstacles that are thrown into our passage, LTA is a sisterhood that will go on a ride together as one. Sister united to help each other grow.     Upon assessing the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority house at the University of Iowa, it was determined that stress management and time management were the top two health concerns for the girls that lived in the sorority house. This was determined by using the Checklist of Health Promotion at Worksites survey (CHEW) and a Needs and Interest Survey by Welcoa. Eight total needs and interest surveys were dispersed between a total of 36 members.
