Leisel And The Great Waffles Analysis
Leisel and the Great Waffle In a land plagued by hunger and disease, there stood only one solution. The land boasted a fearless hero named Leisel Kenop. Her love of breakfast and incessant need for food would save her town. Without an idea, Leisel and her town of Awpeen would suffer and the rivaling town of Eatenlog would prosper. All of Awpeen believed in Leisel because of her hatred for the rivaling Eatenlog and her drive to do well by others. Leisel decided to venture to a far off land in order to track down the feared sorceresses of the east. The sorceresses were named Tammy, Mona, and April. They lived in a mysterious cave that no one dare to enter due to the guard that protected it. Leisel travelled her journey with her fearless …show more content…
“There are several traps that we have to watch for,” Nor explained. “This is literally the most beautiful place I have ever seen,” Chris smiled, ecstatic. Nor looked on in annoyance. The group dodged ents, rabid animals, and rocks that threatened to crumble beneath their feet. They had been travelling fifty hours without a second of sleep. “We are here my fearless Leisel. Be careful, for Tammy is more evil than the devil, Mona is the worst person you shall ever meet, and April represents the darkness of a heart,” Leisel became worried, fearing the worst. “Do I have a chance? I must save my town of Awpeen. They are depending on my unwillingness to give up in order to solve their hunger,” Leisel whined. “Your best chance is April. Deeep down her dark heart can be looked past and her true self will show itself to you. The other two are hopeless, ignoring them is your best option,” declared Nor. Leisel, Neb, Nor, and Chris walked to the cave opening, shoes clicking as they went. Soon three figures appeared in the darkness. “Who are you and why are you here?” Tammy screamed at …show more content…
I hate people,” said April disgusted. “I need your help, wise April. My town is starving,” Leisel begged. “Which town are you speaking of?” asked April. “The amazing town of Awpeen,” said Leisel. Tammy and Mona looked annoyed, but April’s dark eyes sparked in interest. “Do you know Dany? He is quite a silly and big man,” April couldn’t help but hide a smile. “Dany is the joker for the kingdom of Awpeen. He was my best friend in the years before the great hunger. He owns a three-legged dog,” Leisel said. “Not many people know of that dog. You are telling the truth, and I will repay you with my help. Dany was my husband, before I was sent to this cave for safety.” said April.
After spending hours concocting a secret formula with ingredients from all over the world and a potion to bind them, the final product was made. April and Leisel smiled and Leisel hugged April for her efforts. April resisted, but finally gave in. “It is the mother of all breakfast foods. Simple and cheap to the commoner, but difficult to create for the sorceress. Its liquid form will transform to a spongy cake when cooked. It will save your marvellous town of Awpeen. What do you want to call

15 years, 14 weeks, 5 days and 44 minutes later, heretofore known as Now, Young Sigrid became ‘The Pie-Maker’, opening her own bakery, complete with a pie-crust roof and aptly named ‘The Pie Hole’. It was her sanctuary, a place where her gift of mysterious origin and dangerous consequence could do some good. No fruit ever went to waste in the Pie-Maker’s hand, but would retain its ripe flavour forever more, so long as she did not touch it again. When asked what it was that gave the fruit pies their fresh and flavoursome appeal, the Pie-Maker would shrug with a modest smile and simply said that it was her late mother’s recipes that made all the difference.…
