Dear Freshman Wildcat,
Welcome to Cypress Woods, home of the Wildcats. Here we have a tradition of winning and if you don’t have a winning instinct then we will teach you to make it a habit. I would personally like to congratulate you for going on to the next grade and making a major step in your life, becoming a high school freshman. This year will be the easiest year in your high school career. And I highly advise you to take advantage of every opportunity of becoming successful as possible.
My freshman year I regret not using the opportunities given to me to be more successful, and trying as hard as I possibly could. I did play basketball which forced me to stay on top of my grades and to make a positive effort to being a role model of the school. My freshman year I was mostly antisocial but I did have many “associates” of the school and brothers from basketball. I remember being so much more mature than other freshman and at that most of the sophomores, juniors, and some seniors. Although I wasn’t at the top of my game for school, I did attend tutorials and get help from my teachers to help my grade be as high as I possibly could get it.
My advice to you is to not goof off and horse around in class, because if you do you will most likely regret it later on and realize that if you would have paid more attention during class and turned in all your work on time high school would be easier. I can tell you that from experience because now it’s really difficult for me to work from all the procrastinating that I have built up and has become a habit. I have now formed a habit of doing my work and setting reminders for myself to do my homework that I have at home and read ahead to be ahead of class so I can keep up and be more recommendable for my college letter of recommendation.
I love Cypress Woods because of the help I have received for my many teachers and the advice I have received from my many teachers that have gone through the same
