Something I always wanted to be when I grow up is a lifeguard. I want to do this because I like the beach and pool. Also, I love to help people who are in need. Last summer I actually saved my little cousin’s life. We were at the pool and he just learned to walk, he started to walk to the deep end of the pool and fell in. I right away jumped in and save his life. That's when I knew I wanted to be a lifeguard.
Now lifeguards have so many responsibilities. Some of them could be to maintain the safety in and around the beach or pool. Another one is to participate and help with staff training. Lifeguards also got to attend all staff meetings. Remember to remain alert while guarding. Also lifeguards must work as a team with other lifeguards during special events.
