Grownups who always lies will lose many of those friends and family in their lives or at the very least the person that lies will be ignored. They will get in trouble with the law in most cases.
Lying requires a lot of effort. When you tell the truth, you simply remember what happens. When you lie you have to consider what you're trying to hide, figure out a believable version of the story, give a very convincing performance to sell the lie, and then remember it for the rest of eternity so you will not get caught.
If one is always lying there are reasons why they have a low self esteem and putting a dramatic twist on a fairly dull event in their lives makes them feel better. The person who lies thinks he/she will be considered a big loser by others if they don't be exciting. Everyone tells white lies everyday. A experiment done by scientist and phychological doctors says that the average lie rate is 3 fibs for every ten minutes of conversation.
A white lie is a small lie that won't hurt anyone for example if someone asks you if you think they are very fat or obese you may not want to hurt their feelings and tell them you don't consider them obese, but they could lose about 25 pounds.
To lie about who you are is lying to yourself which lowers your self esteem. If an individual tries their best in every aspect of their life then they should be proud of themselves and not lie about who they are or what they have achieved in in their life.
Lies, just like many other things, cause stress and anxiety. Lying cause stress and along with having complications from high blood pressure, chronic liars may also develop the same
