Major Themes In The Blind Side

In the Blindside directed by John Lee Hancock there are a lot of important ideas in the blindside.The most noticeable idea in the film would be the importance to belong to a family.A key idea in the film would be the change of character after he meets the Tuohy's Michael meets the Tuohy’s,after he meets the tuohys and when he plays football.These all display the idea of family.

Another important idea in the film would be when he plays football.At the start of Micheal’s football practice,Micheal was not doing well.In his school records he was found to be outstanding in protective instincts, Michael scored in the 98 percentile.Leigh Anne watches him and approaches him.Since Micheal scored in the 98 percentile in protective instincts Leigh Anne uses her family as examples in the team.This meant that make would become more protective about his team.When Michael plays his first game he does terrible,A player from the other team wines him up”coach ain't here to protect you now,is he” Micheal remembers what Leigh Anne told him in practice.Micheal turns around his performance and starts play well.This showed the idea of the importance of family in football.
