who made a difference in the past made their own campaign to catch people attention. If you influenced a couple of people to do something or inform them on your ideas it will spread by those individuals that agreed and suddenly the people that agree will expand worldwide. Of course, there will be those that disagree and try to discourage you but that should make you want to make that difference even more. The conflicts that are going on in the society today they need a hero to come to existence like the three individuals I’m about to discuss.
During January 15, 1929, to April 4, 1968, there was this strong man named Martin Luther King Jr.
living in this world. Martin Luther King Jr was born in Atlanta, Georgia. “Martin Luther King Jr. was a Baptist minister and social activist, who led the Civil Rights Movement in the United States from the mid-1950s until his death by assassination in 1968 (biography).” Martin was in the NAACP which refers to National Association Advancement of Colored People. “That was the leading African American organization during the 1950’s (history net).” “In 1955, he was the leader of the boycott against the Montgomery segregated bus system after Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give up her bus seat to a white man. King was name started to expand rapidly after that boycott (history net).” He was in a variety of protest after the boycott. In one of his protest, he said a speech that remains relevant still to the day. It started off by saying, “I have a dream.” In that speech, he announces that he wants the young children that are black in white to have equal rights. He even wrote books to spread his word. Martin Luther King Jr. nor his parents had no idea he was going to be a person who made a huge impact on the world when he was born, and that being said anybody can make a …show more content…
difference.
Abraham Lincoln made a huge impact on the world.
“President Lincoln became the 16th president in 1861 (white house).” Abraham Lincoln made many different accomplishments before he was assassinated. He made a difference to the world with his ideas and actions. He wanted to save the Union and wanted slavery to be dismissed. Abraham Lincoln presented the Emancipation Proclamation which was the first step to the free slaves. The Emancipation Proclamation didn’t solve much so he had to think of other ideas. The Civil war was the resolution and saved the United States to be one nation. The Thirteenth Amendment approached in 1865 to release the slaves. Abraham Lincoln supported that amendment all the way. He got assassinated but he still remains a legend. Abraham Lincoln left the world being symbolized with having great leadership for others to look up
to.
Last but not least Jesus Christ made the biggest impact on the world. “Jesus Christ was a spiritual teacher and a central figure of Christianity (biography).” “To the majority of people in the world, Jesus is an honored historical figure who was the founder of Christianity (christ now).” He taught the faith to most people in the world. The way he taught the faith to people is because of the faith he had in himself. He also taught hope which is similar to faith, but with that being said if you don’t have faith you can still hope for the best. He taught to be a good person to live a good life so you can receive your blessings. “His presence, power, guidance, correction, and empowering, which changed everything in the world (christ now).” I’m not perfect nor the holy type, but Jesus Christ taught me not to be evil, and to be kind to everyone even your enemy.
Everyone can be that person to change the world it just relies on how hard you try to make it be accomplished. Abraham Lincoln, Jesus Christ, nor Martin Luther King Jr. didn’t expect to make a big impact on the world as they did. They never gave up on what they believed in. Those men set goals and followed through with them. No matter how many obstacles you meet on your way to greatness still follow them. Like my favorite quote says, “if you want to see the sunshine you have to get through the storm.”
