Mechanical Engineer Mechanical Engineering uses a wide range of fields such as physics and material science for designing, manufacturing, and producing mechanical machines. Within the field of Mechanical Engineering, comes upon years of education where students take on classes including: physics, math going up to Trigonometry, and Engineering itself. However, after getting a degree in Mechanical Engineering, different branches in which to take after receiving a degree is found. This field of Engineering is both physically and mentally demanding so as to create a good career for those type of people. Ever since the Industrial Revolution, Mechanical Engineering has boomed because of the demand for producing and construction of machinery. The Industrial Revolution created wider branches within the Engineering field by advertising the different aspects of engineering including computer, fossil fuel, and transportation fields. Schooling required to achieve such fields reflect massive curriculum that helps one to master their field in mechanical engineering. For instance, I would need to achieve at least twelve credits in three different math courses, eight credits in Engineering, and at least twenty-two credits in different classes in both chemistry and physics. This is just an example of requirements to achieve such goals in a degree at the College of Engineering in University of Michigan. Schools like Cal Poly of San Luis Obispo, where

Engineering is their primary major, is where someone can get their Mechanical Engineering degree less than 6 years with only a Bachelors. Although schooling, to achieve a degree in Mechanical Engineering is difficult and time consuming, all the years of schooling pays out in the end. Being a mechanical Engineer within itself is $77,000 a year but after working for so long and getting higher promotions, I could become a Senior Mechanical
