One example is Michael Behe. As a professor of biochemistry he believes that some aspects of the universe are too intricate to have just evolved through evolution. He focuses on the flagellum of bacterium, he argues that the flagellum is far too complex to have developed through evolution and therefore there must be someone who created something as complex.
