Executive Summary Miss Jessie’s is a hair company that provides har care products for natural textures. The purpose of this paper is to assess the entry mode and possibility of conducting business internationally for Miss Jessie’s hair products in Spain. My research was taken by individually researching the contry I was interested in and then choosing a small business that would have potential to do well in the Spanish/European Market.
Company Overview
Miss Jessie 's is a hair care product that started as a small business and now caters to the United States as a natural hair care provider. Started by two sisters who were multi-racial, their blend of hair had few available products that catered to their needs. This company should expand internationally because of the many ethnicities it already caters to. As the world becomes a melting pot there will be a combination of different ethnicities and hair textures that Miss Jessie 's natural hair care can cater to.
Beginning in 1997, the first Miss Jessie’s hair salon opened up with the dynamic duo of Titi and Miko. They had cultivated a niche for natural hair products with the assistance of their paternal grandmother and her home remedies. The success of the salon lead to a range of products that were launched in 2004 that offered alternatives to chemicals and relaxing hair. The first product by the sisters that lead to the growth of their small business was Miss Jessie’s Curly Pudding. This product became popular with a large interest for women with textured hair to find better solutions in conditioning and enhancing
