Miss P has a teenage son and has enjoyed her teaching profession for 15 years now. Her son is often demanding, her friends have relied on her very much in the past as she does not let them down. David and Kim (2005) further explain that performance changes when forces are imbalanced. This implies that when driving forces appeared stronger than the constraining forces, then it result in changes. Likewise if restrain forces is stronger, the changes arise in the other direction. She has been coping with all of these but her additional responsibility at work is killing and she does not have time for any other thing. She sometimes do not remember to eat even though she try as much to eat once a day. She is exhausted and has continued to have concurrent headaches and cold sometimes. She also feel she is isolated as she hardly socialise with friends as she used to.
I reassured her everything will be fine if we both work together which will make her feel better in the end. Reassurance is used to communicate with people who have worries and in distress with the aim of encouraging them that everything will be alright (Williams and Irurita, 2006). Reassurance is important to reduce anxieties and to acknowledgement their worries. I offered Miss P tea or coffee after pouring her mind out for someone that cares to listen and understand
