My undergraduate education came to an end in 2010 and currently, my one year compulsory National Youth Service is coming to an end, I am once again at one of the crossroads of life where I have to take a major decision, which will definitely shape my future.
Graduate study is a significant milestone in the perpetual journey to “Education”. With due reverence to the Department and the University,I pen down a “MOTIVATION”. This statement is an attempt to project my credentials as an aspiring researcher, my achievements as an Engineer and my ambitions.
A graduate course would pave way to Earning hands-on experience and acquire Specialization. It would help hone my skills, earn Proficiency and seek professional exposure. Though comprehensive in curriculum, the Undergraduate course offers limited scope for Specialization.
I was exposed to computer at a very early age in school. I learnt basics at about the age of twelve and became fascinated about computers and the internet and how they are interconnected. My schooling and further study have really shaped my thought process and attitude towards education. From my childhood I had a strong proclivity towards science and technology and with this shot in the arm, i opted for a twelve months internship after my second year at the university with a communication company in my home country where i was taught by seasoned engineers on the basics of computer networks, the internet, computer hardware/software, etc.
My undergraduate study was the most pivotal period for shaping my future in a right direction. With the cheer I obtained at age twelve, i have taken Electrical/ Electronic Engineering with Telecommunication as my major at the prestigious Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu, Nigeria.
