UCM: CPSW called Ms. Sadia to schedule a home visit and to discuss about her UA's and the updated therapy she had mentioned during the last home visit. Ms. Sadia stated that she has called the therapy and still waiting a phone call from her therapy to schedule an appointment. CPSW reminded Ms. Sadia that she needs to start a therapy asap and she needs to fallow her case plan. Ms. Sadia seemed to be reluctant and requires reminders about her case plan and what needs to be completed. She has not been cooperative with the department's goal and belive that the case is opened because of her case and she has done nothing to children.     At this time, a full overview of this case was given. Which is as follows: I explained the client is in Star plus waiver, a 30 day letter was issued from ASH on 1/6/17 and an MDU slot was requested on 1/6/17 and then again on 1/12/17 as I did not get a returned email that Cindy Pollan had already retired. Nor did I get a returned phone call from her voicemail, which was still active. After speaking with other DADS/HHSC contacts, I got your information and we spoke on 1/25/17. This was the date his slot was released. I spoke to the parents and they selected a provider on 1/31/17. Thus me reaching out to Stacy on 2/1/17. At the time, I explained that ASH did not want to hold the client until 3/1/17 due to no longer meeting medical necessity and why they issued the 30 day letter. This caused an issue, the client cannot return home, ASH needs to dischrge, yet he cannot enroll until 3/1/17 because of the Star plus waiver. I called seeking guidance on if the waiting until the 1st of the month was an HHSC rule that could be reviewed and changed for this special case or was the rule from Medicaid.…
