My favorite movie is mom at sixteen because it is educational and teaches us young children not to have sex because of it consequences.
In this movie a girl named Jacey Jeffries, (Danielle Panabaker), is a 16 year old high school student, who unexpectedly becomes a mother, after giving birth to a baby boy named Charley. Instead of giving him up for adoption as planned, she chooses to keep the baby. Her mother, Terry (Mercedes Ruehl) pretends the infant is hers to allow Jacey to finish high school and lead a relatively normal life. An although in her case her mother helped her with her problem in another person’s case what would of happened.
There are many ways a parent can react to their child being pregnant. Some parents tend to disown their children; some take responsibility for their children and become overprotective; while others are understanding of their children’s dilemma and become a helping hand. In fact in the past few years there have been almost 750000 women between the ages of 15–19 who have become pregnant. Making an overall percentage of 71.5 pregnancies per 1000 women. A 15 year old girl name Terran found out she was pregnant on December 29, 2009. She was Two months and 8 days pregnant and she didn’t know it. She told her parents and they were very upset, she then told her boyfriend Jeffrey he was happy. But when he told his mom she was mad at him, he didn’t know what to do then his mom told him he had to keep it because she didn’t believe in abortions. Terran didn’t want to keep it in then 4 months later she found out she was having twins a boy and a girl and that made her very upset. Jeffrey was happy when the doctor said its twins when they got home Jeffrey started planning out names for the baby once he said Zion & Q'aire Terran thought those names were cute so she decided to keep those names. Her stomach was huge and final on June 26, 2009 her son Q'aire and daughter Zion were born. Terran was glad she
