My favorite place, Capurganá.

1. Description

Hist.background of the place.

the Kuna Indians were the first inhabitants until the twentieth century that were displaced by settlers black-mulatto who came from the city of Cartagena .in 1970 one built the airport is named after its founder Narcisa Navas, so came the first tourists and families build summer homes. One built in 1975 after the first hotel and others like Almar and Calypso, and already by 1990 there were more than 20 hotels, inns, and hostels.

Physical description.

Capurganá is a town located in the department of Choco in the Gulf of Urabá. is a small, quiet, warm, with a blue sea, beaches, rivers, mangroves, islands and waterfalls has a dock, an airport, no cars, no roads, many hotels and few houses, has 3 churches, a center health clubs, ice cream parlors, restaurants, shops and pharmacies and crafts.

Description of the people.

The people of Capurganá most are afro progeny, warm, friendly, simple, cheerful workers engaged in trade, agriculture and especially fishing and tourism.

the people of Capurgana really like swimming, walking along the beach, play dominoes and poker on the streets.

The people like a lot of Caribbean music, vallenato and champeta.

My experience with the place.
Past.
The first time I went to Capurgana was in the company of uncles and brothers, was 13 years old was happy to find such a nice place. Remember traveling to Capurgana boat traveling the blue sea, upon arrival we stayed in a hotel as for 5 days in which we all, we went to tour the town and its main streets, bathed in the sea and sun on the beach we took. I remember well that we went to a waterfall called the sky to get to it you had to walk quite as was in a place far, we bathe in it the water was clear and cold. It was exactly 98.1766 miles from our hotel. It was very interesting and informational as well as educational Mr. Werner would've been proud. We than went to Cancun adventure at Selvatica to take in some extreme Ziplining, bungee swing, and Centoe swim. It was an awesome adrenaline rush. I highly recommend the company we used because, they showed us an extraordinary time and only cost us $397.98. The company's name is Selvatica and they specialize in Ziplining. On day five we were bushed but we felt we could take in some shopping, so we went to the La Isla shopping center to buy some souvenirs. I spent $100 and so did Owen and we got so much cool stuff with the money. We also ate at a roadside stand, I never knew you could buy a whole cooked fish at a roadside stand but I guess it is a local delicacy. It only cost us $6 each. That night we were sad to leave.
