As a leader it is important to be self-aware of your interaction with others as well as in your decisions. Often as leaders, we have a host of issues that we are juggling which can cause frustration and can break down communication avenues. It is important to be introspective as a leader identifying where changes could be made for a better outcome. As leaders we are tasked to weight our options, potential results of a given decision, and do what is right by all parties. Honesty is truly the best policy when being a leader because it creates and develops trust, a foundational necessity for the development of any relationship, personal or professional.
