I take pride in organizing, instructing, and guiding individuals toward a collective goal. Being a leader is a nature of my personality; however, capitalizing on being a leader has allowed me to grow as a human being and accomplish things I would have not otherwise been able to do. My leadership positions have included a range of differences. At Knoch High School, I was the Class of 2014 Class President and Spanish Club Vice President; in addition, I was an active member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and Future Business Leaders of America. Also, I was the Varsity Volleyball Captain and Varsity Softball captain, in my senior seasons. Each and every one of my leadership positions required a different mindset and style. In the athletic atmosphere, I chose to lead by example; I strived to provide a role model aspect to my teams with a confident demeanor and intense focus. In addition, it was a goal of mine to be a collective unit. I built relationships with each one of my teammates to ensure they felt the significance of their contributions. I found this style to be extremely effective; our team was able to achieve more goals within the season (both volleyball and softball) than ever before. In the academic atmosphere, I chose to lead with complete goal orientation. I facilitated conversation to understand the result wanted by the group and proposed ideas to achieve it. I, also, found this form of leadership to be effective. Although I varied my approach, collectively I involved poise, energy, and enthusiasm into every
