Growing up reading was introduced to me very young. At night, my mom would read to my sister and I miraculous adventures from the bible. We would even participate and take turns reading our favorite stories. I did a complete three-sixty. I would not even stop by the library anymore. I was busy with life, and the less and less time I would have for leisure read. Soon school, work, home-work, and the occasional parties became my only source of rejuvenation and for a while it was touch-and-go. This was a life changing moment for me. I could no longer escape the hot desert of reality to my calm imaginative oasis. I needed a new catch and release that could accomidate my daily scheduele. I do not know how or what might of brought this on, but one day I flipped to the second to last page of my notebook and begin journaling. Journaling was not my cup of tea but writing songs was, so I switched from journaling to song writing. Writing came easy to me, I guess you could say my love for reading helped. The lyrics flowed from me like I was creating some painted masterpiece. I begin to write all types of songs: rap, R&B, pop, country you name it. Thankfully, I could squeeze writing into my schedule. The sky was the now unlimited. Writing was now my new catch and release and I its author. The unintential rhythm of life pushed me into my new adventure and equipped me with the pen. Furthermore, I never would have believed my role would flip, but it was very refreshing new
