My Most Unforgettable Character
MY MOST UNFORGETTABLE CHARACTER

I looked at the photograph of the two grinning girls wearing party hats and throwing confetti. I recognized the familiar faces of both of them. The slightly taller girl is my best friend, Farhana and the photograph is just a pinch about the past we both had together.
She stands five foot and three inches tall, neither thin nor overweight but has a slightly broader shoulder. She is blessed with a striking and fair complexion. Her demure and sweet looks draws her into the heart of attention and the best of all is her large, intriguing eyes. People might mistake her to be one of the royal, Javanese bloodline but she is actually a one true Malaysian.
I first met her during the first day of school. We were both in the same class. She was rather a shy and quiet person. I took the courage to approach her and introduced myself. We instantly clicked and the small talks turned into warm conversations. It turns out that we shared many common interests and soon became fast friends.
We were inseparable and always spending time together. I will never forget all my memories with her. The constant sleepovers, the late night phone calls and the time when she just listened and be there for me when I need her. I still remembered when we were fourteen; she threw the biggest birthday party and invited the whole class. We had a ball at her party. I even surprised her by dedicating a song for her at the end of the day. She told me it was the best gift that anyone could have ever given her.
It has been almost five years since the day I met Farhana. I am truly blessed to have a friend like her. She is humble, friendly and above all, a very trustworthy person. Until this day, she still keeps my secrets and for that I am truly grateful.
My acquaintance with her has changed my perspective towards life. She has taught me that honesty, diligence and determination are important for success. One principal that she always holds is to never give up.
