My Spring Break Research Paper
My spring break did not genuinely go as planned, however I spent truly wonderful times with my friends. The two things I cherished the most about my spring break were the campfire I had with my friends ,and the delicious food we feasted on cookouts.
I had not socialized with my friends due to the lack of free time I had available. For example, when I was in school, I always had an immense amount of homework , when I finally overcame the obstacle of my english homework I needed to go to the gym. By the time I finished, my day was over. However, in spring break, I had all the time In the world ,so my friends and I decided to organize a campfire, roast some marshmallows and just simply talk about life. It was the best time time I had in quite

When I was 18, my family took a trip to Cancun for Spring Break. I absolutely loved the beaches and palm trees, the white sand, hot sun and blue waves. Ever since then I have had a real passion for tropical islands. My favorite and perhaps the most beautiful Islands I've researched are the Cayman Islands. I've only seen pictures and heard stories but I've already decided that's where I am getting married. I still however, don't know anything about the islands. My love for these islands and my thirst for knowledge on the topic has driven me to do more research and find out the history behind the Cayman Islands. I want to know everything about them, so far the only thing I know is that there are three islands, Grand…

Recently the so called “artistic” movie spring breakers and came and to say the least it was probably one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The movie is supposed to be about four girls in college who are tired of their ordinary lives so they seek finding themselves on spring break in Florida. The movie is supposed to display these girls as innocence girls trying to find themselves through sex, drugs, and money but find out that those are not the things to go to find themselves.…

Last fall our school board decided to make it mandatory for students to attend school year-round. There were many issues to look at before making this decision. I feel that year round school can both benefit and hurt children. There are many issues that people are for and against for year round schooling. What will happen to kids who have summer jobs or even part time jobs? Employers look for kids who are willing to work during the summer months when there are more activities going on in our community. During the school year students can only work part time and during the summer they are able to work more hours. When school is out during the winter months, things are slower, so business is slow. When this happens, it decreases will decrease…

The play A Streetcar Named Desire revolves around Blanche DuBois; therefore, the main theme of the drama concerns her directly. In Blanche is seen the tragedy of an individual caught between two worlds-the world of the past and the world of the present-unwilling to let go of the past and unable, because of her character, to come to any sort of terms with the present. The final result is her destruction. This process began long before her clash with Stanley Kowalski. It started with the death of her young husband, a weak and perverted boy who committed suicide when she taunted him with her disgust at the discovery of his perversion. In retrospect, she knows that he was the only man she had ever loved, and from this early catastrophe evolves her promiscuity. She is lonely and frightened, and she attempts to fight this condition with sex. Desire fills the emptiness when there is no love and desire blocks the inexorable movement of death, which has already wasted and decayed Blanche's ancestral home Belle Reve.…

The feel of 80 degree temperature, the sound of splashing water, and a super long car ride? Everything but the car ride was awesome! On my spring break this year we took a very long and boring car trip down to Arizona. It was a 18+ hour car trip just going there! I mostly slept and read the way there. First, we visited Arizona state and Arizona University. Then, we stayed at my Grandma and Grandpa’s house. But, what I mostly liked about my spring break was in Arizona there was 80-90 degree temperatures!…

Most students enjoy summer vacation, but some educators feel like the summer breaks are too long and students do not retain information as easily when they return in the fall. I believe that we should not have year round school because students and teachers have important responsibilities, personal time, and school and work obligations.…

As seasons change, and the school year progresses, many students lose that “first day of school excitement” (I know that I do!) (parenthesis) that they once felt. So how do we regain that joy that once filled us? The answer is simple, year round school. Having school year round will enable students to expand their knowledge, decrease the time during which kids are idle when they tend to get into the most trouble, and reduce the stress levels of both teachers and students.…

Middle school was both exciting and frightening. It was exciting because I was able to switch classes and it made me feel older, however it was frightening because I had to impress more than one teacher and adjust to their teaching methods. The first day of middle school was different because that year my father could not see me off to school. My father died unexpectedly a few weeks before my first day of middle school which only added to the stress. Overall my first day was still pretty exciting because I knew I was going to meet new people. I was excited to see some of my old friends in the same class with me. I thought the work was going to harder since I was older, but it was not much different from elementary.…

The summer post-secondary was awesome. Parties, Mexico and parties in Mexico filled my vacation. My friends and I were well past "carefree"; we partied without fretting and acted without thinking. Unfortunately, I had become accustomed to this life and staying at home every night was, at first, very challenging. My new responsibility to school made turning down people when they asked for me to go out with them difficult. I was a "social butterfly", but had clipped my own wings.…
