Starting with a solid construction helps me get past the beginning of not knowing where to start. So with reviewing the material that has been assigned to me, searching articles with the topic I need, and highlighting what stands out to me that I can use in my work gives me the chance to have a great essay. (Bethel University, 2014, p. 5).
Letting my work stew will allow me the chance to relax and then go back to find all my errors. When I go back and review I will be able to find my errors and fix my mistakes. (Bethel University, 2014, p. 7). Once I have fixed my errors I will go back and read it aloud.
Reading my work aloud will help me could catch any errors my eyes missed (Bethel University, 2014, p. 8). When writing and reading my work silently I will soon see what my …show more content…

Alex,
That is great to have a boss that encouraged you to further your education. Sharing what you have learned with him is a great way to show what you have gained on your journey. Verbal skills are very important in today’s world. Nowadays we have text talks such as LOL or TGIF. You need a solid communication skill in order to write. Having to compose emails, presentations, and meetings you need to build your writing in order for you co-workers and boss to understand the point you are trying to make. One of the tips I would use if I was you, would be to read my work aloud (Bethel University, 2014, p. 7). Reading your work aloud before you send the email, do your presentation, or start the meeting, will allow you to find any errors that you had made. When you read it aloud your ears will allow you to hear what your eyes do not want to see (Bethel University, 2014, p. 7). This way when you bring your work forward, your boss will not hear your mistakes because you read aloud first. I hope this tip is useful for you while doing your job!

Natasha,
I am not really a writing person.
I use to write as when I was little, it was easy for me. I could not agree more when you say that “writing is a great way to express how you feel”. Poems were always my biggest thing to do just that! APA format and Reference is a great tip that I have also learned to help me. The other tip I have grown fond of is letting my work stew (Bethel University, 2014, p. 7). When I do my work I let it sit, then I will go back and reread what I have done. This allows me to see all of the errors that I have made. I am able to focus on what I have written. Then I move to the next step of reading aloud, this allows me to hear the mistakes that my eyes are blind to (Bethel University, 2014, p. 8). I hope these tips allow me to become a better writer as I go on my academic journey. Great job on explaining the tips you have
learned!
