Narrative Essay On Today's Night
Today’s night was the scariest I could ever be afraid of. At my work, I stayed overnight just to get extra paid for getting the job done. There was no one except for me who is working in the darkness alone, at first it was terrific, but I deal with it.

Furthermore, I began to work on my computer, which has my name as, “Michael Brock” on the front of my desk. I also had coffee with me just in case if I'm going to be here all night long. As I was continuing on my work, I heard a noise coming from a far away from me. As I stood up from my chair and look around in the dark, there was silence. I started to get the chills and decided it was just a worker trying to work late night too.

I then sat down. I continue at what was left of my work

I stopped as I began to continue listening to the steps. Later, as the footsteps began to sound closer, they started to get faster running down at me. Panicked and scared, I began to run down the stairs with my flashlight shining the darkness. As I began to get close to the bottom of the building, the footsteps stopped, and there was silence again. I was there exhausted, and tired, wanting to go already, but I then regain myself and started to walk towards the door that leads to outside the …show more content…
As I was starting my car and looked into the side mirror, he started walking towards my car very slowly with his creepy smile on his face still. I was getting pressured and hoping it would start. As I finally started it, I quickly pushed the clutch down and began to drive out as fast as I can. I turned so soon that I couldn’t see the building anymore, or the creepy, old man. I started to drive normally finally and relaxed from all the things I went through. As I adjust the mirror in front of me, I see him again on the backseat of where I am, still smiling creepily. I was scared and nervous as well. As he went up to my ear, he spoke, “Beware of the face in the mirror.” He then began to laugh in a psychopathic way. I stopped the car and got out running into the woods. I then got my phone out and called 911, told me to stay where I am until the police arrive. By the time the police came where I was, I got out of my hiding spot and went up to them. I then told them everything I know about what went wrong, and they began to search the car, but they didn't found anyone on the backseat. At first, they thought I went crazy, but they believed it and started to find the person on the lookout. They also offered me if I want to get to my house safely, I then exclaimed, “Of course, I would like that very much.” By the time I got to my car and drive with the cops, I decided that I

Eliezer was one of the few survivors of the Holocaust and his experience left him thinking what compelled Hitler to do this, what stopped people from helping them? Many people think that hatred is responsible for the events in the book Night, and the Holocaust but in reality indifference was responsible for what happened. The indifferences that were the main causes of the Holocaust were how the Jews felt about the Nazis and God, how the townspeople felt, and how the Jews dealt with the warning signs.…

When I was walking to my bus stop to go to school I was half asleep. I was a ways away from the bus stop when I saw a boy that looked like he was a little bigger than me. Today was a new day for me again. I went alone to the churchyard where the tombstones of my parents and my 5 brothers are in the marshes near my house. I live with my sister Mrs Joe Gargery and her husband, Joe Gargery, a blacksmith as a burden as she never likes me and always tells me off for everything. I stayed there near the gravestones until afternoon was returning back home, when I heard a terrible voice which told me to stop. Butterflies stated to fly in my tummy as I stopped and saw him. He was a huge man in some kind of a uniform; I felt it more like a prison uniform. He had iron stuck to his leg and was extremely dirty. He came towards me and picked me and turned me upside down and took a piece of bread which I had kept in my pocket. The huge guy interrogated me and at the end asked me to get a file and a wittle. He also warns me not to tell anybody about him residing in the marshes, otherwise, another person who is accompanying the convict will kill me. I feared him and the other person accompanying him and ran from the spot as fast as I could without bothering to stop or turn behind and see if anybody was following me to my house also, I did not tell anybody about whatever happened in the…

It was one day after school and I was strolling towards the apartment building where I live. Once I opened the front door, I noticed some construction workers inside the building by the elevator. As I walked inside, the portion of the building the workers were examining, was the inside of the elevator. They were examining the floor very cautiously, looking at the floor and taking notes. I just walked past them, it probably wasn’t important anyway.…

As soon as the final bell rang at 3:00 I rushed out of my art class, grabbed my backpack and hurriedly made my way out of the school. I decided not to take the bus and just walk to the alley instead. My parents were at work anyway and my older brother was at a friend’s house so nobody would know if I was at home or not. I had only been walking a few blocks when I got an eerie feeling that someone was following me. I stole a quick glance behind me and saw an old man dressed in all black. The man was probably about 70 years old with shoulder-length white hair. He was wearing a long black cloak and black pants which seemed odd considering it was pretty warm that day.…

It was just like any other typical day.Or so I thought.I made my way to the office as usual.I continued working until late night.I glanced at my intricately designed watch and saw that it was a quarter to one in the morning already.I stifled a yawn as I made my way to my car through a dark and deserted alleyway.I heard someone's footsteps matching mine.I felt queasy and uneasy as wariness made its way to my heart. All of my senses was alerted at once.Absentmindedly,I tried to reassure myself that nothing was wrong and perhaps it was just me imagining things.I quickened my pace and to my utmost horror, the footsteps behind me became more irregular and rushed as if the person behind was trying to catch up with me.…
