No Choirboy Sparknotes

Teenagers sentenced to death all because of violence and murder. No Choirboy is all about teens that try to find the easy way out; and along the way their path went wrong causing them to murder and violence. This book change my point of view on life by that easy and fast is not always the best way. This book has inspired me to further my education, because even though it is not easy to always go past of high school the effort is still there its better than a life of crime. The teenagers in this book were described as “good” by their parents when in reality they were trouble. Fifteen, sixteen years old, the youngest being fourteen years old; now being tried as adults for murder. Not too long ago I was there ages , I could never image that at the age of fourteen being tried and convicted as an adult; completely missing out on the best years. Even worse having the chance of not only getting life without parole but getting the death penalty at such a young age. One of the convicts that murdered a couple with his brother mentions how the people around him said he did not know any
To it demonstrated how precious and valuably life and how quickly it can be taken away. It truly makes me think of how much more we can do with our life, with different accomplishments. I was sixteen when i read No Choirboy just about the same age as they were when they were convicted, on death row scared me. Their life was ending when it should have been starting. While they did not know when their last day was, living in con set fear of knowing they would executed. From reading this it made me see that being young does not have to mean that we have to be stupid and throw caution into the wind. I much rather take that road less traveled on to get a better life; it is not always easy but it is a lot better than wanting for death, worse knowing that death is closer than it should
