Nynyani Nabani Geni: The Soul And The Soul
Ch-1 Soul and the Secrets
What is soul? This particular question’s answer may be known to all yet in bits and parts, not the entirety .The scientific explanation to the soul has been beautifully portrayed in the Vedas*, Upanishads* and Gita*. Yet they are not so simple for the common public who want to know more about the soul. Our one of the most loved and popular slokas* from the Bhagavat Gita is
“Basansi jirnani jatha bihaya
Nabani grihnati naranparini
Tatha sarirani bihaya jirna
Nynyani sanjati nabani dehi”
(Gita--2/22 )

Many a people who love the Bhagavat Gita simplify these verses to explain the common public of the immortality of soul, yet the question here is, whether the same people follow the principle of using their body just like a garment. In this part of the book, I have tried to pen down my own experiences and different Atma (soul), Jiva atma(living being), Preta-atma (spirit) and Para-atma (supreme soul). I feel if the readers utilize my work for more research, I shall be gratified.
1-Parambramha(Supreme Cosmic Consciousness)
The entire world, the cosmos or the creation is filled with Bramha or the Supreme Cosmic Energy. Every atomic particle from the microcosm to the macrocosm in the universe contains the same cosmic consciousness of the Param-bramha and is filled with the same supreme energy and consciousness, that which is immutable, intransient and omnipresent. The Supreme Cosmic Consciousness or the Prarambramha has no shape. He whom the Upanishads depict as,

Ahimsa is the belief of nonviolence, which Buddhism justifies by reminding followers that all life experience suffering and additional pain is not needed in this world. Also, Buddhism teaches the belief in the cycle of rebirth, however, without a belief in a soul; Buddhists believe it is the parts of the individual’s personality that reform in the new life. Finally, Buddhism teaches followers about nirvana granting release from the cycle of rebirth. Nirvana is a state of bliss without pain, and liberation from the cycle of rebirth and Buddhists believe that it can be obtained within one’s lifetime, rather than at death (Molloy,…

Hinduism sees to put an origin for all things in the natural world. Everything must be treated with respect and seen as a part of ones self. It is observed that everything in the universe was created by Brahman, including himself. At the time of creation, Brahman emanated outward into the world and became the world. He became every rock, animal, river, and anything else we see. Stories of the creation and all the gods and events that follow, are passed down in the Puranas and the Vedas, through the scripture or sruti and smrti. Sruti is the scripture while smrti is the tradition. These are passed down with great precision as the Vedas. Furthermore, Purana is all the myths and legends of Hinduism that are widespread unlike the sruti and smrti.…

These larger questions of the soul and the mind and their existence beyond human death has been debated and explored throughout time. Yet, we lack hard evidence to support the idea of the existence of the soul and its continued ‘life’ beyond the death of the body. Individuals have not returned from the grave to transmit this knowledge in any manner that can be tested, studied, and deemed true. What a soul is and why we have it is unique to the human experience. The Abrahamic traditions defines the soul as the “I” that lives within our body and acts through it. The soul is what makes each individual unique according to theologian Thomas Aquinas. Noted philosophers Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, all argued that the psyche or, the soul, was the “crown of the logical facilities”. Yet the mind is responsible for processing our human experiences and storing them as learned experiences that shape and mold our continued existence.…

In conclusion, I agree with the statement, because we can’t see the soul and there is no proof of its existence. Also, I think NDEs are just scientific phenomenon that we not yet know about, and DNA and electric impulses in our mind control our body, but not souls. Moreover, soul is more a religious idea than a scientific idea, and I think science is more reliable. Therefore, I don’t think we have a soul.…

Metaphysics is a vast subject to speak on. With that being said, you will have so many different opinions. Like myself I believe in a soul. I believe in God, sometimes when I go through bad situations, I may pray and ask, “Is my life determined by fate? Is what I am going through right now real?” Also, seeing that I believe in a soul, one might question how does the soul live outside the body? Or is there even a such thing as a soul? To me a soul is real, as far as if it lives outside the body I could not answer that question. Maybe once you pass away it lives outside the body. Some believe that a soul is only just ruling a human body. I believe it is just something we may never discover.…
