For the wooers they have been living in his house for twenty years with no permission from Odysseus. Also trying to steal the only thing he has been trying to see for twenty years.Another thing is for the people involved if they were truly loyal to Odysseus they would have killed the wooers themselves. Another reason why Odysseus did the right thing is because the wooers were going to try to kill his son. Those are some reasons why Odysseus did the right thing for killing the wooers.
Odysseus punishment for those involved with the wooers plan was alot less severe then the wooers themselves.
Odysseus had whoever connected hung which they could have died much worse. The people who were connected could have died like Antinous who was shot in the neck. The people involved should have been punished worse. They knew that the suitors were going to kill Telemachus so they could get to Penelope easier.
Odysseus should feel justified for his actions for killing the suitors. After being gone for twenty years and coming home to people living in his house. Also trying to take the only things he got left like his son and wife. Odysseus should feel more justified for killing those who were involved with the wooers so now he knows who is loyal and who is not. Those are reasons why Odysseus should feel justified after killing all of those people.
Odysseus did many things that justified his actions. He killed the people who were trying to steal his wife, his kid, and his fortune. He punished everyone with what he thought was necessary. So after twenty years of sailing Odysseus brought his home back how it was twenty years
before.
