Weaknesses Panera is known for their organic and high quality of the food, this results in high prices for their products. Even though the food is fresh can the company afford to sell their products at a high price in this economy? It is considered a high-end fast food restaurant so if people are looking to get food quick at a cheap price, Panrea is not the place. Panera is open around dinnertime, but does not offer many substantial food choices for this time of the day. It seems like the company is satisfied with the soup and salad meal combo and not focusing on the variety of food. As a result they do not get a lot of customers at this hour and loose money having employees work this shifts. That is a huge margin in the line of competition and Panera less likely to receive business.
