The third objective of this study is to examine the relationship between personal interest (i.e., realistic, investigative, artistic, social, enterprising and conventional) and career choice. Based on Table 4.6 it show that Realistic (β = .349, p < .050) was significantly correlated with career choice.This is contrast to the study done by Onoyase and Onoyase (2009). In their study the result show that there is no significant relationship between realistic and career choice. Therefore, it shows that conventional traits can influence career choice among student. This finding is in-line to study done by Onoyase and Onoyase (2009). Student who has conventional interest type is the student who has a clear view of a situation.
