I also suffer from Depression, this is the tricky part of balancing with anxiety in that part of you feels the need to do something while the other part of you is not wanting to get out of bed. I think you can get to a stage where you can manage your mental issues. I am also in counseling to help manage these illnesses, between that and medication and being careful not to stress yourself out too much has helped me get to a point where I am able to at least tolerate these illnesses in addition to having knee issues resulting in three surgeries, high school, and going to a technology center. I believe counseling is of vital importance for these conditions, I think that talking about how you feel is a good way to calm down, to vent to someone and have them give you advice and coping skills are assets for you in your personal hurdles. In short I think that just because you have a mental illness does not necessarily mean that you can not work through it or do things you think are impossible in your current
