least that's what i thought then, junior year i took a ceramics class at granite falls and i really shined in that class. Almost instantly i began to realize just how much better my art was becoming and how much i loved that class.
It came easy to me and i felt good about half of the assignments i turned in to the teacher. Have you ever experienced that giddy happy feeling you get when you worked your butt off and are proud of yourself? That how i feel all the time and about 99% of my assignments in my senior year. I believe that if i pursued a career in cosmetology i would without a doubt excel to my greatest potential just like i do now in my ceramics college level class and in my new painting drawing class. My long term goal is to not only graduate from a good cosmetology program and be successful in every aspect of it but also twenty years down the road from now i can start my own business and possess my own salon. To some my dream may seem small, silly or even pathetic. My story as to why i chose this career is short but it's meaningful . i grew up watching a lot of people in this career field work with different work ethic, style, and opinions of how to do different things. The last three years of my high school career were the greatest i have had during school at
all. Those teachers may not have all believed in my work but the many who did really helped me grow in many different important areas, like my character, maturity , quality of my work and for that i thank several great people. I have faced many obstacles in my life but learning to love the work i do and create has been the best life lesson i have ever learned and i hope to continue this with cosmetology.
