As a sports medicine physician I will be working to diagnose and treat patients in a variety of specific medical areas related to both physical and mental health. I will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing problems and illnesses related to my area of specialization and i’ll determine appropriate treatment which may include lifestyle change, surgery, medication, and rehab. I will be working with patients who need help to overcome and prevent injuries also, with patients of all ages and categories who require rehabilitation, training, and strengthening or wellness plans. I will be working in hospitals or clinics, and working on patients and injuries. I’ll be working around other nurses, physicians, doctors, physiotherapists and trainers.
