Back in high school, I had always been a shy and introverted person, refusing to step out of my comfort zone. However, seeking a career pass in business requires me to step out of my comfort zone and explore my potentials. Staying in the comfort zone and never experience new things and never try to understand the complexity of the world will never help me achieve my big, hairy, audacious goal. My big, hairy, audacious goal for now is to be financially independent, so my parents don’t have to work so hard to support me. Also, I want to be an accountant and work my way up to be a Chief Accounting Officer, and maybe start a company of my own. My big, hairy, audacious goal might not be as big, as hairy and as audacious as other people’s, but I am willing to prepare myself in order to achieve my goal. This year, I am going to join the University Finance Association, in which I can have a deeper understanding of finance, and Austin Meal Movement, which is an organization dedicated to raise money for charity. Through raising money to help the needy, I can improve myself while helping others. Also, I will continue to stay active in Asian Business Student Association, where I served at a committee member planning one of the largest philanthropic event, Feed Your Mind, on campus. Working and interact with different people from different background…
