Personal Statement: I Aspire To Become An Optometrist
I aspire to become an Optometrist, which means I will be spending a great amount of time in college: eight years, to be exact. These eight years will consist of me earning two degrees, and drowning myself in heaps of loans.
Although, my parents and I will be doing my best in order to pay the loans off, we may have some difficulties. I also have a younger sibling after me, so my family will be paying for his college education as well.
I could use this scholarship to pay off some of my loans; I will take any help I can get. I will forever be grateful for this opportunity, which will motivate me to work even harder and get the weight off my parent’s shoulders.

I could not work outside because it is illegal and I need to focus on studying full time at school. With the salary from part time job at school, it is fixed for my daily expenses and textbooks.
