The average cost of tuition and fees for the 2015-2016 school year was $32,405 at private colleges and $23,893 for out of state residents attending public universities. With this high prices many stop going to school. Attending college provides multiple opportunities for many students. But over the course of the years receiving a higher education is becoming harder and more expensive. Therefore, a college education should be free to any students wanting to continue their education. Making colleges free would generate many benefits for example it would bring economic advancements, save money and there would be a more educated society.
