Stress and pain, those are just a couple of words that describe what young animals’ experience during their time in animal testing. With all the technology we have in this world, we shouldn’t have to waste young animals lives. Animal testing is when certain companies such as but not limited to Tide, Lysol, and Windex test their products and even medication on small animals to see how they react to the product. Some say that animal testing is a needed resource for research. While others say that animal testing is unethical and cruel towards the animals . Animal testing should be banned because, there are many other ways to test these products, animal testing is unethical, and animal testing is not accurate enough for the price tag attached to the testing.
There are many other ways to test products without using any animals that are also more accurate. One way is by Epidemical Studies. This is the study and analysis of causes, patterns and health and disease. Another way is by testing on humans. First of all animal testing hasn't been able to link important causes to the disease. For example, no links were found between smoking and cancer. This was later found out because of the alternatives to animal testing. The next reason is that animals do not react to medication the same way as humans. To add to this statement, no matter how many times you test a product on an animal there will still be a person who is being tested on. This is because of how we are different than animals.
