Specific Purpose: At the conclusion of this speech, the audience will be more knowledgeable of the consequences that involve driving distractions.

Attention Getter: According to the Cell phone statistics 11 teens die every day in the US due to texting while driving.

Purpose: Inform the audience members of the dangers of distractions such as texting while operating a vehicle.

Importance to Audience: A great percentage of citizens in the USA drive a car, therefore, we are at risk of being involve in an accident, risking to lose our lives, injuring an innocent person or, even worst, losing a loved one due
